The Free Travel Hack We’re Loving: Skip the Airport Security Line with CLEAR Reserve
What is CLEAR Reserve?
CLEAR Reserve addresses one of the biggest headaches of travel. Long security lines that eat up your time, energy, and peace of mind, especially when you’re hopping from country to country on slow or nomadic adventures.
Good news: there’s a simple, free way to skip the worst of it, even if you don’t have TSA PreCheck or a paid CLEAR membership.

Why We Love it for Slow & Nomadic Travel
Save Time for Better Things; Spend less time standing in line and more time enjoying your final coffee, meal, or stroll through the airport.
Free Alternatives to Paid Programs; It’s a great option if you don’t want to pay for TSA PreCheck or CLEAR+. Reserve is 100% free.
Perfect for couples and families; book a single time slot for your entire travel crew (up to approximately 10 people, depending on the airport). Everyone just needs to arrive together during your chosen time window to breeze through the dedicated security lane as a group. This makes CLEAR Reserve especially useful for families, couples, or small groups who want to skip the general line without the hassle of booking separate slots for each person. It’s free, simple to use, and makes coordinating security a lot less stressful when you’re traveling together.
Fits the Slow Nomad Lifestyle; When you’re living out of a suitcase, anything that saves time and stress is gold.

Happy travels, and happy skipping the line!
FAQ's
Is CLEAR Reserve the same as a paid CLEAR+ membership?
Nope! CLEAR+ utilizes biometrics and offers paid express lanes, whereas Reserve provides a free time slot for standard security. You will still need to present your ID and undergo the standard TSA screening process.
Do I still have to take off my shoes and unpack my laptop?
Yes, Reserve doesn’t replace TSA PreCheck. You’ll still follow normal security steps, you’re just saving time by skipping the general line.
How far in advance should I book my slot?
It depends on the airport; some allow booking up to a few days in advance, while others permit booking up to 72 hours in advance. Popular times (mornings, holidays) fill up fastest.
How many people can I add to my reservation?
Most airports let you book for up to 10 people in the same party. Everyone must arrive together.
Do all airports offer CLEAR Reserve?
Not yet! But the list is growing. Popular U.S. and European airports have Reserve lanes; check your airport’s website or CLEAR’s page before you fly.
Does Reserve guarantee I’ll breeze through instantly?
Reserve cuts down wait times dramatically, but you may still experience a brief wait, depending on the level of activity. Always arrive early, just in case.
